Washington, D.C., April 18, 2018 -- U.S. Secretary of Labor R. Alexander Acosta will address representatives of the Hispanic business community at the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Legislative Summit. Secretary Acosta will offer remarks at the Legislative Summit Gala on April 26. His keynote speech caps off three days of policy discussions with the top leaders of the U.S. government. Notable speakers throughout the event include Senators Cornyn, Booker, Flake and Cortez Masto as well as Representatives Ros-Lehtinen, O’Rourke, Hurd, Velaquez and more—who will meet directly Hispanic owned small business, local chambers and entrepreneurs.

Secretary Acosta’s speech will be part of the Legislative Summit Gala which begins at 7:30 PM EST. The event will also feature Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), the first Latina U.S. Senator, who will be presenting Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), the first Latina Member of Congress, with the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award.
