US Presidential Election Series: Watch out for Assange Berlin conference today

Much awaited video conference from Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who has been hiding/sheltering at the Ecuador embassy in the United Kingdom is scheduled for broadcast in the next hour; at 10: am CET or 4 am ET. Mr. Assange is expected to release further documents on Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, probably emails and documents on Democratic party that would seriously jeopardize the Presidential bid of Ms. Clinton.

The expectations have built up due to Assange’s June interview with Britain’s ITV where he said that he has upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton. Mr. Assange stoked up expectations again when last month he said that the publications are quite serious and very interesting. Mr. Assange had originally planned to deliver his speech from the Ecuador embassy balcony but cancelled it due to security concerns.

It was Wikileaks that published emails from Democratic National Committee (DNC) that showed there were attempts to rig the election in favor of Hillary Clinton and the committee conspired against Bernie Sanders.
