Yesterday Democratic second runner, Bernie Sanders met with President Barrack Obama, after which President Obama officially endorsed Hillary Clinton as Democratic nominee in November 8th election and Bernie Sanders said that he will be looking to work together with Hillary Clinton to defeat Republican nominee Donald Trump and make the government work for the people not just top 1%.
It seems the duo must have agreed that greater priority is to keep Donald Trump out of the White House by uniting the Democratic Party as the Democratic establishment has taken up measures to address the issues raised by Senator Sanders.
It is Donald Trump that is helping the Democratic Party to unite. It is the main reason why Vermont Senator chose to throw her support behind Donald Trump. Speaking to the reporters after the Presidential meet, Vermont’s Senator said that he thinks Donald Trump as President will be a disaster. He added, “Needless to say, I am going to do everything in my power and I will work as hard as I can to make sure that Donald Trump does not become president.”
This basically pours cold water on Donald Trump’s hopes that Bernie supporters may join him and Bernie could run as independent.
