Democratic presidential aspirant, Bernie Sanders, who has been running under dog, to front runner Hilary Clinton showed on Saturday primaries, why his campaign should not end and he to keep fighting.
Mr. Bernie has been suggested, many a times, that he should probably end his campaign as former secretary Hilary Clinton has been leading large, thanks to her large base of super delegates, who can freely choose, which candidates to back.
As of now, Mrs. Clinton is leading the race with 1712 delegates, compared to 1004 for Bernie Sanders. Any Republican aspirants will have to get 2383 delegates, to secure his/her nominations. Mrs. Clinton’s remarkable lead gets reduced, excluding the Super Delegates and after Saturday’s primaries in Washington, Alaska and Hawaii, Bernie Sanders is just 268 delegates behind.
After big win on Saturday, Mr. Sanders called on the super delegates to review their positions and suggested his campaigns will grow stronger as primaries move further west.
- In Saturday’s primaries Mr. Sanders won more than 70% in all three states of Alaska, Hawaii and Washington. Mr. Sanders have won 13 delegates in Alaska, while Clinton grabbed 3. He won 17 delegates in Hawaii to Clinton’s 8.
- In Washington, Mr. Bernie has won 72.7% of the votes. Delegates will be awarded throughout the week.
Next primary is in Wisconsin on April 5th for both Republicans and Democrats.
