US Presidential Election Series: Again leaked emails and this time it’s Colin Powell

Another set of emails have been leaked and this time they are not from Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton but from Colin Powell, former secretary of state and in those emails Mr. Powell described the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump as ‘national disgrace and international pariah’ and accused Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton of being ‘greedy’.

Comments coming from a Republican foreign policy expert who was a former chairman of the joint chiefs and national security adviser and served three Republican presidents, show, what kind of commentaries are going in the background but not coming out due to the possibility of a Trump Presidency.

As of now, Trump is trailing Hillary nationally but her spread over Trump has thinned from close to 8 percent in August to just 1.8 percent. It clearly looks like that it would be a tight race and a lot would depend on the upcoming presidential debate that is set to begin on September 26th.
