UK's Q3 Preliminary GDP to be 0.5 (qoq)

UK's Preliminary GDP for third quarter, quarter on quarter basis is expected by market consensus to be 0.5, which is steady as previous quarter's GDP qoq.

The Preliminary GDP, year on year is expected to be 2.3 by the consensus, while for the previous quarter, it stood at 2.3. Private consumption is expected to decline slightly to 0.7 from  0.8, government spending is expected to decline -0.1 from 0.4, Gross Fixed Capital Formation is expected to be at 0.9 while exports are expected to be at 0.9 on qoq basis.

"The second estimate of Q3 GDP growth should confirm the first estimate of 0.5% qoq", estimates Societe Generale.
