The Turkish economic confidence index rose in September by 20.8 percent from August. The index rose to 87.81 in September from 72.66 in the previous month, according to Turkish Statistical Institute. The rises in confidence indices of real, services and construction sectors mainly drove the increased in the economic confidence index.
Services confidence index rose to 96.23, whereas real sector sentiment index was up to 107.1. Meanwhile, construction sentiment index rose in September to 81.99. On the other hand, consumer sentiment index dropped to 74.29, whereas retail trade confidence index dropped to 97.99 in September, stated the Turkish Statistical Institute.
