“This Is Us” season 3 episode 9 is going to be the series’ finale before it goes on break for this year’s holiday season. The final chapter for the first half will delve more into Kevin’s research about how his father lived in Vietnam and his new discoveries will surely clear up some of the remaining mysteries in Jack’s life.

“This Is Us” season 3 episode 9 is titled "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" and its synopsis reads: “Kevin arrives at the Ville where his father served; Kate pursues a new opportunity; Randall debates Councilman Solomon Brown; in the past, Jack struggles to get through to his brother.” This is one of the two episodes left before the fall break so expect another heart-wrenching drama.

Before this, a Thanksgiving festivity will be shown via episode 8’s “18,615.” This will show the family celebrating the last Thanksgiving they had with Jack and apparently, this will be a flashback from when the triplets were still very young.

The last two installments will feature Kevin finding his way to the Ville where his father once served while in Vietnam. His love life will also be highlighted as he and Zoe (Melanie Liburd) become closer as a couple. Liburd was cast in the show just last season as the photographer for Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby’s (Chris Sullivan) wedding and she is also Beth’s cousin in “This Is Us.”

After the short hiatus, the second part of “This Is Us Season 3” will return in 2019 and it was speculated that it would be in mid-January. This is because the previous two seasons also returned in the early months of the following year after a holiday break that usually starts in the last week of November.

“This Is Us” season 3 episode 9’s "The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning" is airing on Nov. 27 at 9 p.m. on
