‘This Is Us’ Season 3 Air Date, Casts, Plot: Will Beth Complicate Zoe and Kevin's Romance?

“This Is Us” Season 3 will have a new series regular. The actress in question is Lyric Ross, who plays Deja in the family-oriented drama series, TV Line reported.

The promotion comes in the wake of Melanie Liburd (Zoe) being promoted as well. Zoe was introduced in the show last season where she was the photographer for the wedding of Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan). “This Is Us” Season 3 is expected to have a lot of drama, with some of it revolving around Zoe and Kevin (Justin Hartley).

The friction is due to the fact and Zoe and Kevin are going to start dating each other. They first met during the wedding, when Zoe complimented Kevin on the speech he gave. But “This Is Us” Season 3 will have Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) get in the way of the duo’s budding romance given Zoe is Beth’s cousin and she’s not particularly fond of him.

It can be recalled that Kevin was once arrested due to a D.U.I. violation while Beth and Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) children were in the car. Given this piece of history, it’s understandable why Beth isn’t exactly thrilled for her cousin getting entangled with Kevin. Fans will have to wait until “This Is Us” Season 3 drops to know how this story arc will develop.
