“The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15 is going to be a tough story for Shaun (Freddie Highmore) as he’ll be locking horns with the hospital’s chief of surgery. Named Dr. Jackson Han (Daniel Dae Kim), this character will be providing the consequences for the savant’s actions in how he’ll handle a particular case.
As Shaun isn’t skilled in social communication, his blunt honesty towards an agitated mother of a dying infant lands him in hot water. “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15 will have Han questioning Shaun’s place in the medical facility and whether or not he’s fit to fill his current role. What makes this particular release an interesting story to follow is how Shaun will handle the confrontation with Han.
Due to his autism, the savant isn’t fond of direct questions, which puts him at a disadvantage in certain situations. Indeed, this has already been seen during his collision with Dr. Glassman (Richard Schiff) where Shaun took his mentor’s license as that was what protocol dictates. Shaun has since learned from that blunder and he’s set to learn another mistake in “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15.
But it seems that before the savant surgeon can grow from his error, Han will be kicking him out of the hospital. The trailer of “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15 already hinted at this development although it’s likely that this wouldn’t come to pass. After all, one of the major premises of the medical drama is centered on Shaun’s growth regarding societal intricacies.
On the romance side of things, Lim (Christina Chang) and Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) are working on their budding relationship, which is already on a rocky start. The previous episode saw the secret couple acknowledging that their romance has permeated their professional relationship. Fortunately, the pair decided they want to work on it rather than walking away and not seeing where it will lead. Regarding the release date of the “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15, it’s been scheduled to drop on Feb. 18.
Highmore will be directing this episode, which will be the first time he’ll take the helm for the medical drama. Hopefully, “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 15 will translate well to the fans so that Highmore will spearhead more stories in the future.
