‘The Flash’ Season 3, Episode 12 Spoilers: "Untouchable" – Iris Caught in Crossfire After Clive Targets Joe, Death Inevitable? Barry Mentors Kid Flash

‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 12, titled "Untouchable," is set to follow Iris as she is caught in the crossfire after the villainous Clive Yorkin makes Joe his target. Meanwhile, Barry is set on mentoring Kid Flash to help in his superhero training.

The synopsis for episode 12 posted on TV Guide reads, “Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate.

Joe (Jesse L. Martinn) becomes his next target, but it's Iris (Candice Patton) who is caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, the Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster's training to another level.”

Much of the new season’s storyline tackled Barry’s attempts to save Iris life after seeing a vision of her death by the hands of Savitar sometime in the future. Barry and his allies at STAR Labs have been hard at work at circumventing the disastrous event. However, it seems that a new development may put her life at risk once more.

According to Cartermatt, it was speculated that someone else besides Savitar could cause her imminent death considering that the series has been rife with all sorts of villains. The promo hinted that the villain may get to Iris somehow despite Kid Flash rescuing her just in time. It would be interesting to watch for Iris’ fate as the series progresses.

Meanwhile, Barry a.k.a. The Flash will be working with Kid Flash on his speedster training.

‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 12, titled "Untouchable," is scheduled to air on The CW on February 7, 2017. The episode was directed by Rob Hardy and written for the small screen by Brooke Roberts and Judalina Neira. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "Attack on Gorilla City," directed by Dermott Downs and scheduled for February 21.
