DALLAS, March 02, 2018 -- The Delta Companies (TDC), a leading staffing firm for healthcare professionals nationwide, announced that Executive Chairman Seiki “Stan” Hirota has been named to the Staffing 100 Influencers for North America, a prestigious industry list from Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). The list is not a ranking but rather a recognition of the top 100 professionals who have made a substantial contribution to the growth of the North American staffing market. The honorees are nominated by peers, SIA advisors, and the SIA team.
TDC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan-based Mitsui & Co., Ltd., which acquired the firm in 2014. Hirota is credited with being a leader in carrying out Mitsui’s mission to optimize U.S. healthcare staffing solutions. During his tenure as executive chairman, Hirota has led TDC to substantial growth, as evidenced by the firm’s ranking at no. 24 on SIA’s list of largest healthcare staffing firms for 2016. This same year, Delta Locum Tenens was named eighth on SIA’s largest U.S. locum tenens firms.
“It’s an honor to be included in the Staffing Industry Analysts Staffing 100 Influencers in North America for 2018,” Hirota said. “The healthcare staffing industry is an exciting market. We’re seeing a strong macro trend for healthcare on a global basis, the evolution of workforce-related business models to outsourced business services, unconventional consolidation and collaborations among key players in the healthcare industry, and digital transformation. At all of our operating companies, we are committed in providing meaningful solutions to the customers we serve.”
Hirota was named to TDC’s board in 2014. He is also a Chairman of the Board for UHS Partners, Inc., Accountable Healthcare Staffing, and a board member of The CSI Companies.
