“The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12 will be quite an exciting story to follow as it will wade in unchartered territories, both for Red (James Spader) and the audiences alike. At the moment, Red appears to be facing the end of the line as his death sentence via lethal injection is inching ever closer.

Of course, “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12 will not be killing off the Concierge of Crime since…well, the show will be dying with him. There’s also the fact the Spader has been confirmed to return in the seventh installment of the show, Business Times. But Red’s impending death isn’t what makes this upcoming release an intriguing story to follow.

Looking through the lens of hardcore fans, it’s not about whether or not he’ll survive in “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12. It’s how he’ll survive. So far, everything seems to lean on the conspiracy involving the collusion of multiple powerful people in an attempt to bring down the United States government.

Cooper (Harry Lennix) is arguably in the best position to save Red at the moment as the information he holds can potentially force the POTUS to reverse Red’s execution. Or at least, reconsider his punishment. But that is a tall order since the hands working against Red are pulling strings high up in the echelons of power. Of course, Cooper will try all the same and will be racing against time in “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12.

Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) will be continuing her efforts in locating the key that will unlock the abovementioned conspiracy. As all of these events unfold, Red will be helplessly waiting for his fate – something that has yet been portrayed in the series. The master criminal has always been in control in whatever situation he’s in. But “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12 will have him rely on the expertise of Cooper, Liz, and the rest of the team to pull him out of this hole.

Between the potential blackmailing of the POTUS and the uncovering of a deeply-rooted corruption within the U.S. government itself, the next release is looking like another tension-filled plot for fans. Regarding its release date, “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 12 has been slated to air on March 22.
