Shopify partners with Affirm

Affirm, the financial tech company launched by PayPal Co-Founder Max Levchin, recently announced its partnership with Shopify, a leading cloud-based multichannel platform. As a result of this partnership, Buy with Affirm, a payment option for consumers, is now available to merchants on Shopify, thereby providing them the ability to offer shoppers installment financing at checkout, Business Wire reports.

"Shopify has partnered with Affirm to bring innovative, consumer-friendly financing to Shopify stores like you. Affirm lets online shoppers split up purchases into monthly installments, increasing conversions, AOVs, and customer happiness. And integration is incredibly simple - just turn it on in your Shopify store", Affirm said on its website.

The new payment option will allow shoppers to buy and receive the items they want now, and pay for them in monthly installments with transparent, simple interest loans.

Several merchants on Shopify platform had requested the provision to offer Affirm financing to their consumers. In response, the financial tech company promptly developed the technology to support Shopify merchants.
