ATTLEBORO, Mass., Nov. 28, 2017 -- Sensata Technologies, Inc., the principal U.S. subsidiary of Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (NYSE:ST), one of the world’s leading suppliers of sensing, electrical protection, control and power management solutions with operations and business centers around the world, today announced the establishment of the Sensata Technologies Foundation. The objective of the Foundation is twofold: to benefit the communities where the company operates and to foster a passion about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects and all that they can make possible in the 21st century.
As the Company has grown throughout the U.S. and beyond, the Sensata Technologies Foundation enables the company to support programs and organizations within and beyond Attleboro, Massachusetts and also concentrate resources on organizations that are closer aligned with the Company’s core focus areas – including STEM.

The Sensata Technologies Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service. A committee of Sensata employees will oversee the funds available for employee matching grants beginning in 2018.
