KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 19, 2017 -- Lois Nix has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the advertising sales division of Scripps Networks Interactive (Nasdaq:SNI), the company announced today.

In this role, Nix serves as the primary financial advisor to the company’s ad sales organization, responsible for finance, accounting, budgeting, analysis and business planning functions within the group.
Nix is based in New York and reports to Chief Revenue Officer Steve Gigliotti, with additional reporting duties to Lori Hickok, Scripps Networks’ Chief Financial Officer. She succeeds Amy Listerman who departed the company last month.

She joins from The Weather Company, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the digital and cable advertising sales division. During her seven years with the company, she was a key member of the ad sales leadership team.
Prior to The Weather Company, Nix worked in planning and strategy for the national ad sales operations division of NBCUniversal, focusing on CNBC, MSNBC and Telemundo. She was previously Chief Financial Officer for the company’s sports entertainment business, including the Summer and Winter Olympics.
