After more than two decades of service at ScottMadden and having served as energy practice leader since 2009, Stuart Pearman will retire at the end of June. Effective April 1, Ms. Lyons will assume this role.
Ms. Lyons joined ScottMadden in 1999 and has been a partner since 2007. She became the grid transformation practice leader in 2015. In this role, she has led the firm’s work in helping clients manage the operational, regulatory, and policy impacts of increasing distributed energy resources on the grid. Through her career, she has consulted with myriad clients on issues ranging from process and organizational redesign to merger integration to project and program management. Grid transformation will continue to be a key focus in ScottMadden’s energy practice, and we are committed to assisting our clients and continuing our leading edge work in this space.
Brad Kitchens, president and CEO of ScottMadden shared, “We’re fortunate to have incredible depth within our partner group. Cristin is the logical choice to succeed Stuart as energy practice leader. She has led our grid transformation practice and has taken it to new heights. We are leaders in the industry. I look forward to working with her as we continue to grow our energy capabilities.”
Mr. Pearman will be ending a long and successful career at ScottMadden. After joining the firm in 1994, he became a partner in 1999. Under his leadership as energy practice leader, ScottMadden has grown and expanded our capabilities significantly to serve our energy clients as they face the challenges of a dynamic industry. Mr. Pearman has made significant contributions through his leadership of the energy practice and to the infrastructure supporting the firm’s growth, being a key champion of many initiatives over the last two decades.
“Stuart has had a tremendous career at ScottMadden, and our world-class energy practice wouldn’t be where it is today without his vision and leadership. We will be forever grateful to him and we will miss him,” added Mr. Kitchens.
