“The collaboration between Reef and Corona was a no-brainer, both represent that stress-free, beach state-of-mind,” said Reef’s head of collaboration Eric Gigler. “We’re excited for Reef and Corona fans to slip on a pair of our sandals, crack open a Corona and bring those beach vibes to life.”
The collection will feature three men’s sandals, in Reef’s popular Fanning, HT Prints, and Draftsmen styles, and two women’s sandals, both in the brand’s best-selling Stargazer style. All Reef X Corona sandals come with a Reef signature bottle opener on the bottom and will retail starting at $35. In addition to sandals, the collaboration will include boardshorts and a hat, with Corona’s recognizable logo and imagery.
“Nothing says summer quite like an ice-cold Corona with a slice of lime and a pair of flip flops,” said John Alvarado, vice president of marketing for Corona. “This felt like such a great fit for the Corona brand and we know our fans will enjoy finding their beach this summer in their Reefs.”
