Several months since it was first announced, the Snapdragon 888-powered Realme GT has found its way to the European market. Despite its flagship-level features, the device is being offered at a reasonable price.
The Realme GT was first announced and released in China last March. However, Realme India and Realme Europe CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed recently that the device is getting a global launch in June. Sheth did not provide specifics about the global release dates, but The Verge spotted the company’s official website listing the phone for €549 (around $668).

A screenshot of the Realme GT listing suggests European customers will not have much choice when it comes to available colorways and memory configurations. The device appears to be only listed in its Racing Yellow color, which is a bright yellow (close to the “Cyberpunk 2077” theme) on the back cover with a strike of black that starts above the camera bump to the bottom of the phone.
The European version of Realme GT is also only available in its top-tier configuration, which offers 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. When the device was announced last March in China, Realme also offered a cheaper variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with an introductory price of 2,799 yuan or around $438 today.
It is also interesting that the listing says the phone will only be shipped in a very few territories. The Realme GT screenshot shows the device will only be available to customers with shipping addresses in Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Portugal. It remains to be seen if that list will include more countries.
As for the Realme GT specs, the European version is confirmed to support 5G mobile network, and it will be powered by Snapdragon 888 chip as well. The device will sport a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it will support Realme’s 65W fast charging technology.
It is still unclear if Realme plans on changing other specs and features for the Realme GT’s European launch. The device’s version launched in China has a 6.43-inch screen, runs with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, a 16MP selfie camera, and has a rear-facing triple camera composed of 64MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensors.
