Data center and telecom service opportunities include the creation of robust, secure and sustainable data handling systems; site selection and development; building design and construction; innovative power and energy solutions; operation and maintenance procedures; cooling/heating systems; and strategies associated with water sourcing, security and quality. The demand for environmental and health consulting services to the sector is expected to grow at an accelerated pace over the next decade. “The age of managing and analyzing data is upon us and growing rapidly,” Mr. Margolin said. “We’re in the early stages of a vigorous market in a sector that can benefit significantly from all of Ramboll’s core service lines.”
Mr. Margolin has provided a wide variety of services to clients in this sector during his 20+ years in the industry. His work has also involved directing complicated site investigation and remediation projects and evaluating human health and ecological risks associated with contaminated media.
“Jeff is a natural champion for the booming data center and telecom sector,” Mr. Marrazza said. “While he will remain a practitioner, his new role will allow him to devote a substantial portion of time to securing Ramboll’s leadership in the market.”
