A board-certified ophthalmologist for over 16 years, Dr. Donovan built his successful career with a special emphasis on cataract and laser vision correction working with practices throughout Louisiana. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, The American College of Eye Surgeons and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology. Prior to that, Dr. Donovan completed his ophthalmology residency at the LSU Eye Center in New Orleans where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. While in practice in Louisiana, he lectured and was involved in clinical instruction for the Ophthalmology residents of the LSU/Ochsner Clinic residency program. Dr. Donovan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
