Prince Harry 'Sickened' of Meghan Markle Divorce Rumors; Sussex Pair's Christmas Plans Unveiled

A royal commentator previously claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage could be measured in "years not decades."

A startled Prince Harry is said to be "sickened" by a royal commentator's appraisal of his marriage to Meghan Markle and future predictions. Graydon Carter, a former Vanity Fair editor, stated Meghan exploited Harry as a stepping stone to fame and fortune, and his comments appear to have backfired.

Prince Harry Tired of Meghan Markle Divorce Rumors

Graydon Carter stated he thought that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage would be measured in “years not decades.” An informant claimed Prince Harry is "sickened" by the comments and "hurt" by rumors that he and Meghan are divorcing. They claim Harry is offended by Graydon's remarks since the journalist is "highly respected within society circles."

"When Graydon Carter weighs in on a topic like this, important people in the highest places listen. It's going to have a domino effect as far as the perceived narrative about their marriage and its long-term prospects goes,” the insider told The Mirror. They went on to say that people would presume Graydon has "inside knowledge about any tension in their relationship" rather than it being entirely speculative.

The source added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are concerned that other critics may now weigh in on their relationship. The Duchess of Sussex revealed this week that she was "thrilled" to be returning to the entertainment sector with her and Prince Harry's production company.

Meghan Markle, a former “Suits” actress, walked the red carpet at the Variety Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Thursday evening, to celebrate the achievements of women in entertainment. Meghan, who was dressed in a camel off-the-shoulder gown with a slicked bun, said she is "really proud" of the projects Archewell Productions has developed so far, including the docu-series Harry & Meghan, while also hinting at future projects.

On the red carpet, Meghan Markle told Variety, per Express UK, that she wanted to create "things that make people feel" as well as "a sense of community." She went on to say, "We have so many exciting things on the slate."

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Unlikely to Spend Christmas with Royal Family

Meanwhile, even if relations with the Royal Family are warming, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are unlikely to spend Christmas with them. According to relationship specialist Louella Alderson, Meghan may be "relieved" by this.

"Meghan may not want to reconcile with the Royal Family after the way she feels she was treated by them and the British media. Meghan might see this as a chance to distance herself even more from them and concentrate on creating a happy life with her family in America. Meghan might be relieved that she doesn't have to return to the UK any time soon and face the Royal Family,” Louella stated.

Speculations about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry not spending another Christmas with the Royal Family have been surfacing online lately. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already stated that they would be "happy to accept" an offer to spend the holidays with the royal family, but that sentiment does not appear to be shared.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not invited to the royal family's Christmas celebrations last year, and they are unlikely to be invited again this year, according to a royal source. The Telegraph also reported that the couple is "highly unlikely" to turn down the opportunity to spend the holidays with King Charles.

According to another source told the Daily Mail, prominent members of the royal family, including Prince William, will not want Meghan Markle and Prince Harry present at Christmas. It added that, despite "friends of the Sussexes" stating the Sussex couple would be open to spending Christmas at Sandringham to "change the state of play," not all royals appear to be on board.
