Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Shockingly Beat Kate Middleton, Prince William, King Charles

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned out to be more influential than King Charles, according to a recent survey.

A recent study revealed that King Charles is the fifth most powerful member of the royal family, following the late Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. GetInsta analyzed global Google searches, TikTok views, Instagram hashtags, and articles to identify the most influential members of the British Royal Family.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Are More Popular Than Prince William, Princess Kate

Despite her death, Queen Elizabeth II emerged as the most talked-about royal, outperforming her contemporaries in all categories. She topped the charts with 7.9 million global Google searches each month, 26.1 billion TikTok views, 1.7 million Instagram hashtags, and a whopping 916,869 articles written on her in the previous year.

Prince Harry came in second place in terms of influence, with two million monthly global Google searches, 14.1 billion TikTok tags, 1.2 million Instagram hashtags, and 931,224 articles written about him in the previous year. The publication of his autobiography in January contributed greatly to his increase in media prominence.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's wife, ranks third, with 4.3 million monthly global Google searches, 11.7 billion TikTok tags, 1.2 million Instagram hashtags, and 705,203 articles written on her in the last year. The couple's romance, marriage, and the controversy surrounding their choice to stand down from top royal positions have generated a lot of media attention.

Kate Middleton, the King's other daughter-in-law, ranks fourth with 10.4 billion TikTok views, 1.5 million Instagram hashtags, and 2.8 million monthly global Google searches. Princess Diana, who died in 1997, is still regarded as the sixth most powerful royal, ranking with her son, Prince William. Princess Diana's legacy continues to draw global attention, with 1.7 million global Google searches each month, 17.8 billion TikTok views, 978,000 Instagram hashtags, and 293,363 publications featuring her in the last year.

Despite ranking sixth in overall influence, King Charles has had the most articles written about him this year, most likely due to his coronation in May. As the king, his acts, remarks, and activities receive far more media attention than those of other members of the royal family.

"The British Royal Family undeniably holds a significant level of influence and captivates the interest of people worldwide. This research offers an intriguing perspective on the most influential members of the royal family who maintain broad popularity among the public,” a spokesperson for GetInsta stated.

Meghan Markle Appeared ‘Irritated’ At Being ‘Shoved Along’ Red Carpet

Meanwhile, according to a body language specialist, Meghan Markle was at risk of appearing “irritated” as she was “shoved around” the red carpet, but she “managed to style it out.” On Thursday, the former actress, 42, returned to the red carpet for Variety's Power of Women event. She was among the celebrities who posed for photos at the magazine's Los Angeles event.

An assistant nudged Meghan Markle along the red carpet, as shown in a video from the event. Meghan proceeded to pose briefly before conversing with the individual and moving on. Judi James, a body language specialist, recently told GB News, per Express UK, that Meghan is growing pretty skilled at "recovery," turning a possible slip-up into a face-saving change of movement to safeguard her brand.

“Here though the risk actually looks greater in terms of either diminishing her status as a duchess or allowing an expression of impatience or irritation to leak out,” Judi stated. She also said that publicists can be "quite firm" in directing celebrities at events in order to guarantee that the bigger names receive adequate attention.

Meghan Markle appeared to be "too much in the zone" to notice the hand reaching out to her that "gate-crashed" her photos, according to Judi. This, according to Judi, implies that Meghan can be "pushed along" like other celebrities. The gesture usually signifies that a guest has overstayed their welcome and that there are greater names "waiting" for them.

While being "led or pulled along" is OK, being "pushed or shoved along," even without direct physical contact, is "not a good look" for a star, Judi shared. She pointed out that Meghan Markle didn't appear to notice the "outstretched hand" directed at her at first. When she does notice, she "ignores it, backing away" and continues to pose.

Judi emphasized a "potential conflict" as the assistant moved forward with an "ushering gesture." Meghan "performs her recovery" at this time, according to Judi. "She keeps hold of it, shaking it slightly as though signaling affection, before going back for a few more shots,” the body language expert furthered.

Judi went on to say that Meghan Markle's red carpet appearance was "sullied" by her hand reaching out into images of herself and the "implied low status of being ushered along" at such an event. The Royal Family, according to Judi, "doesn't get ushered."

She claimed that the incident appeared to be a "small clash of status behaviors" for the Duchess of Sussex "versus" Meghan Markle as a former actress. "Her return in triumph looked compromised but she managed to style it out without looking annoyed,” Judi added.
