INDIANAPOLIS, March 07, 2018 -- Power Solutions International, Inc. (“PSI”) (OTC:PSIX), a leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of emissions-certified, alternative-fuel power systems, today announced that it will showcase modified alternative-fuel GM vehicles at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 4-7.
PSI will feature two modified GM vehicles this year. A GM 4500HD cutaway, featuring PSI’s propane fuel (LPG) system, will be displayed at the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) booth (#5591). PSI will also participate in the Work Truck Show’s free Ride-and-Drive program March 7-8, providing a GM Silverado 2500HD crew cab pickup featuring a PSI compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel system.
“After introducing these options last year, we’re excited to be taking orders this year at NTEA,” said John Miller, PSI’s Chief Executive Officer. “It’s a great place to share the stage and support partners like GM and PERC, and offer customers the clean, high-performance alternatives they’re looking for to meet their economic, compliance and sustainability goals.”
In late 2016, PSI signed an agreement with GM making it GM’s North American alternative-fuel specialty vehicle modifier for fleet, commercial and retail truck markets, a move that Mr. Miller says has diversified PSI’s alternative-fuel portfolio. PSI now offers CNG and LPG conversions for the Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD, Express and Savana passenger vans, cargo vans, commercial cutaways, and low cab forward 3500HD and 4500HD trucks.
The vehicles are powered with GM’s 6.0-liter LC8 hardened engines with Fuel Systems provided by Power Solutions International. PSI Fuel Systems are all U.S. EPA and CARB-certified. The 3500 and 4500 LPG cutaway features PSI’s improved Bi-Phase Gen II LP fuel system which includes patented leak-proof propane injectors. The Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD CNG systems are also available in multiple platform and configurations.
PSI will feature its products at the NTEA Work Truck Show and Green Truck Summit taking place from March 4–7, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
