Polish industrial production likely to have grown 1.5 pct in November

Polish industrial production data for the month of November is set to release this week. According to an Erste Group Research report, industrial production is likely to have risen 1.5 percent year-on-year in the month. However, the market expectations are on the optimistic front, projecting a rise of 4.3 percent.

Subdued performance of industrial production should mirror falling sentiment in construction and manufacturing. Growth in construction output is likely to have sustained strong double-digit growth in November – consensus is 16.4 percent year-on-year, but slowdown in growth dynamics is also expected.

“PPI should remain in November at around currently observed levels of 3 percent y/y”, added Ertse Group Research
