The unveiling of The Poco M4 Pro is happening in a few days, but the device’s design may have leaked already. Just as many suspected, the leak suggests it will look similar to the recently launched Redmi Note 11.
Poco M4 Pro looks like a rebranded Redmi Note 11
Even before the Poco M4 Pro launch was confirmed, tech enthusiasts have been speculating that the device would have similar technical specifications and design to the Redmi Note 11. And a recent leak seems to confirm that.
Alleged renders of the Poco M4 Pro appeared in The Pixel’s report showing that most details in the front and back of the upcoming device would be mostly the same as the Redmi Note 11. A hole-punch camera is placed in the top-center of the screen, while the back has the larger main camera, a secondary sensor, the LED flash, and an AI label.
The main difference between the two devices is how their brands are stamped on the back. Similar to the M3 Pro, the Poco M4 Pro will have a large bar that extends on the other of the rear camera bump where “POCO” and “Designed by POCO” are going to be printed.
Poco drops obvious clues for Poco M4 Pro specs
Poco M4 Pro and Redmi Note 11 are expected to share more than just design features. Since the upcoming device is speculated as a rebrand, people anticipate that it will have similar specs to the new Redmi phone. And based on the clues Poco Global has been providing on Twitter, those assumptions seem plausible.
The company has posted three images with not-so-hidden clues about the Poco M4 Pro’s specs. So far, Poco Global has confirmed that the device will have a 50MP AI main camera, 33W fast charging, and an “ultra performance 6nm” chipset — all of which are available on the standard Redmi Note 11.
Poco has yet to reveal which SoC will power Poco M4 Pro. But it is worth noting that the Redmi Note 11 uses the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chip. The launch event is happening on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. GMT+8 / 8 a.m. ET.
