Poco M4 Pro has been one of the unannounced smartphones mentioned in the rumor mill over the last several weeks. Now, its launch appears imminent as the company confirmed its next launch event slated in early November.
Poco M4 Pro launch date
Announced through the Poco Global Twitter page, the company confirmed that a new device will be unveiled Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. GMT+8. That schedule translates to Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET. The company did not mention a location for the event, suggesting that it will happen entirely online.

As with previous Poco phones, the company did not wait for the launch event to confirm which device it will announce. For the event next month, Poco confirmed that it will unveil the Poco M4 Pro 5G.
It is unclear if the Poco M4 Pro will be available for orders on the same day it launches. But previous Poco phone releases suggest that the upcoming device could arrive in stores shortly after its announcement.
Poco M4 Pro rumored specs
As mentioned, the Poco M4 Pro has appeared in previous reports ahead of the company’s announcement this week. Earlier this month, the device was spotted passing through the FCC. The document revealed that it could ship with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations. The certification also stated that the device will support 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, and MIUI 12.5.
The official Twitter announcement comes with a teaser photo, but it does not provide any sneak peek at the Poco M4 Pro. However, some reports speculate that the upcoming Poco device is likely a rebranded Redmi Note 11, which Xiaomi just unveiled in China on Thursday. In that case, Poco fans might already have an idea of its design.
The Poco M4 Pro might also receive a substantial upgrade in its battery specs. A much earlier certification spotted by leaker Abhishek Yadav suggested that the device would support 33W fast charging. While the Poco M3 shipped with a 6000mAh battery, its fast charging capability was listed at 18W only.
