REGULATED INFORMATION
GHENT, Belgium, 3 November 2017 - Ablynx [Euronext Brussels and Nasdaq: ABLX] today announced, in accordance with Article 14 of the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 regarding the publication of major shareholdings in issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market (the "Transparency Law"), that it received a notification of shareholdings from Millennium Group Management LLC on 31 October and 1 November 2017.
In a first notification (dated 31 October 2017), Millennium Group Management LLC notified Ablynx that it holds 1,889,639 voting securities of Ablynx and equivalent financial instruments on 26 October 2017, representing 3.07% of the 61,576,144 outstanding voting rights of Ablynx at that time.
In a second notification (dated 1 November 2017), Millennium Group Management LLC notified Ablynx that on 27 October 2017, it holds no voting securities of Ablynx or equivalent financial instruments anymore and therefore has crossed downwards the lowest threshold.
The second notification contains the following information:
- Reason for the notification: acquisition or disposal of voting securities or voting rights, downward crossing of lowest threshold
- Notification by: a parent undertaking or a controlling person
- Persons subject to the notification requirement: Millennium International Management LP, Millennium Group Management LLC
- Transaction date: 27 October 2017
- Threshold that is crossed: 3%
- Denominator: 73,006,144 (on 27/10/2017)
- Chain of controlled undertakings through which the holding is effectively being held: Millennium International Management LP and Integrated Core Strategies (Europe) Sarl are ultimately controlled by Millennium Group Management LLC.

The Articles of the Association of Ablynx NV provide for shareholders notification threshold of 3%, 5% or a multiple of 5% of the total number of existing voting rights.
