No change is likely in the EC consumer confidence indicator for September.
"The factors behind an improvement in consumer confidence, lower fuel prices, improvement in the labour market, have continued as they were, and for that reason the number will remain unchanged", says Societe Generale.
Continued uncertainty over China is more of a concern for businesses and should not affect the sentiment of consumers, who remain more buoyant.
