- Acquires NeuroQuest, a Provider of Neurodiagnostic Services
PLEASANTON, Calif., March 03, 2016 -- Natus Medical Incorporated (NASDAQ:BABY) today announced that it has expanded its neurodiagnostic services into seven new states with the acquisition of the assets of NeuroQuest, LLC, a provider of neurodiagnostic services.
"The addition of NeuroQuest further strengthens our Global Neurodiagnostic ("GND") brand as a leading provider in our rapidly growing ambulatory EEG service business," said Jim Hawkins, President and Chief Executive Officer. "GND's organic growth combined with this acquisition offer an exciting opportunity for Natus and our customers as we expand the service throughout the United States." Hawkins continued.
"We expect this acquisition to add approximately $2.5 million in additional revenue during 2016 and to be immediately accretive to earnings," said Hawkins.
GND offers patients and physicians a more convenient way to complete ambulatory video EEG testing which can be performed at the home, hospital or physician's office. The service also provides comprehensive reporting and support to the physician.
