RICHFIELD, Ohio, Sept. 15, 2016 -- National Interstate Insurance Company, a leader in specialty insurance programs since 1989, announced that it has expanded its current Crane and Rigging insurance program which is available for mid to large companies with a new product focusing on small- to mid-size Crane Rental and Rigging operations.
All of its Crane and Rigging products, including this newest offering, are uniquely tailored to meet industry needs and include auto liability, physical damage, workers’ compensation, general liability, motor truck cargo, excess, property, and cyber liability. National Interstate offers these insurance products through an open retail distribution network and is actively seeking producers to market and service the new program, which is available immediately.
“Given the success with our current offerings, we are thrilled to expand our product to now include coverages designed specifically for small- to mid-size crane rental and rigging operations,” said Dan Keenan, Director of Specialty Transportation at National Interstate. “Through this expansion, we will be able to offer a comprehensive insurance solution to customers of all sizes with quick turnaround times, flexible payment options, and industry-leading risk management services. We believe our ability to work directly with retail agents on this product provides a distinct advantage within this marketplace.”
“Having entered the crane and rigging space 10 years ago through the launch of our unique Titan Specialized™ alternative risk program, we continue to gain knowledge of and develop products that meet the distinct needs of these specialty operators,” said Shawn Los, Vice President at National Interstate. “This expansion is a natural progression for National Interstate’s Crane and Rigging program and allows us to bring our industry expertise, products, and services to a broader range of customers.”
