The separation is allegedly due to Millepied’s heavy involvement in his dance career, which supposedly “takes precedence” over the actress and their family, OK! (via Gossip Cop) reported.
Of course, this is nothing more than a fabrication as recent photos of Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied show they’re still quite smitten with each other. The couple attended the L.A. Dance Project Annual Gala last weekend where the two were photographed kissing at their table.
What’s more, there hasn’t been any indication of marital turbulence between Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied lately, with the news mostly focusing on both their respective endeavors. For Millepied, it’s about his involvement with the dance movement that is spreading within Los Angeles.
“Something important that has happened in the last year is we now have our own space downtown, which is not just a home to create but also a home to present dance," Millepied told The Hollywood Reporter. "We’re now adding like 50 shows a year to the city of Los Angeles and we’re the first company, which is sort of insane in the history you know to have a performance space.” Meanwhile, Natalie Portman is busy promoting her upcoming movie, “Vox Lux.”
The film follows the life of Celeste (Natalie Portman) and her struggle of keeping things together as she’s hit with a scandal during the years of building her musical career. Academy Awards nominee Jude Law will be starring with Portman, playing the role of Celeste’s passionate manager. Benjamin Millepied accompanied his wife last month in Italy during the Venice Film Festival, where “Vox Lux” premiered.
During their trip, there wasn’t any indication that Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied are going through a tough time together as they were seen contentedly exploring the city. With all these being taken into account, it’s highly likely that OK!’s latest piece about the couple is an unfounded narrative.
