The end-of-February short interest represents 3.72 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.36 days for the prior reporting period.
Short interest in 874 securities on The Nasdaq Capital MarketSM totaled 891,372,909 shares at the end of the settlement date of February 28, 2018 compared with 890,663,769 shares in 867 securities for the previous reporting period. This represents 3.04 days average daily volume, compared with the previous reporting period’s figure of 2.40 .
