Most Asian markets start the new week on a positive note, gold falls 1 pct to $1199

Majority Asian markets are trading on a positive note on Monday morning. On the other side, Gold hits fresh 3 –month low to 1199 marks on Asian hours. In addition, dollar extends gain and rises above 111.00 Yen for first time since late April.

Japan’s Nikkei N225 was trading 0.89% higher at 16,985 points in Tokyo.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.04% lower at 1,968.16 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng index was trading 0.57% higher at 20,697 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.05% higher at 5,409.60 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 2,814.65 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,056.31 points.
