All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Wednesday. On the other side, gold and silver both were trading higher in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,274 mark while silver was trading around $18.32 marks. Silver hits fresh 5-month high at $18.45 mark.
Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 1.19 percent lower at 18,525 points.
Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.18 percent lower at 24,046 points.
Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading around 0.04 percent lower at 5,927 marks.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.12 percent higher at 2,126.33 points.
Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,283.84 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,514.57 points.
Taiwan’s market was trading 0.17 percent lower at 9,815.68 points.
India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.04 percent higher at 9,240.65 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.17 percent higher at 29,838.82 points.
