Miranda Lambert will be celebrating two of the important things in her life in the coming months. Her charity organization will be celebrating its 10th anniversary alongside the Country Music Association (CMA) Festival in June.
Lambert is not just widely popular and successful in the country music industry. Over the years, she has also shown her love for her pets and even co-founded the charity called the MuttNation. “We’re hoping that 1,000 or more people, some with their furry friends, will join us walking in support of shelter pet adoption,” Lambert said in a statement. “Country music lovers and dog lovers, they go hand-in-hand, and CMA Fest provides the perfect setting to make that special connection.”
In its official website, Lambert’s organization cites the following goal, “The mission of MuttNation Foundation is to promote and facilitate the adoption of shelter pets, encourage spay & neuter for all pets, and educate the public about the importance and beneficial impact of these actions.” One of its upcoming charity events, the MuttNation march, coincides the opening day of CMA Fest 2019 on June 6 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Interested parties can now register for Lambert’s MuttNation march through the organization’s official website. There is also a prepared FAQ page to inform fans and participants’ about the key details and do’s and don'ts of the event.
The march route will cover "a little less than 1 mile" starting at the Nissan Stadium Parking lot. It is also the venue where Lambert is set to perform for the music fest. However, CMA has yet to announce the official lineup of performances from a long list of country music stars.
In March, CMA only confirmed that Lambert is joining a hefty lineup of artists to perform at the Nissan Stadium. The list includes Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Lambert’s band Pistol Annies, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, and more. The 2019 CMA Fest closes on June 9.
