Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump has long been rumored to have an ill relationship. The White House already denied this in the past and there are people who are also attesting that the stepmother and stepdaughter have a great relationship in reality.
Then again, this subject was brought up again when Melania Trump’s former aide and close friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff released her book recently titled “Melania & Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.” The ex-advisor revealed many shocking stories about the First Lady and it includes her alleged tension with Ivanka Trump.
The FLOTUS’ alleged name-calling
Wolkoff also appeared on the “The New Abnormal” podcast not long ago and it was there when she claimed that Melania Trump calls Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner “snakes. In any case, she said that the FLOTUS refers to them by this name as she believes Donald Trump’s eldest daughter wants her to be an irrelevant first lady. Ivanka is said to be doing this by interfering with the staff members from the East Wing.
Melania’s former confidante seemed to have suggested that Ivanka is really not an angel and described her as “Donald in a suit.” The author of the book alleges that Ivanka would hire staff who were being evaluated to work for Melania in the White House like Kayleigh McEnany.
“We called Ivanka the serial poacher. It was deceptive,” Express quoted an insider who seems to support the idea that Ivanka is not fond of Melania. “But you don't go and hire people that the First Lady's looking to bring in.”
What’s more, Wolkoff disclosed that Melania Trump was appalled at Donald’s daughter’s “tone-deafness” for hosting the screening of the “Finding Dory” movie in 2017, at the height of the protest rallies against the Muslim ban. With her mistakes and anything else she has been doing at the White House, Wolkoff actually thinks that Ivanka is a “mixture of dumb and evil.”
Melania’s response
Melania Trump is aware of the book and what her former friend and confidante have revealed to the public. She denied the claims and described the stories as mere gossips that were meant to misrepresent her character.
Then again, only Melania Trump and Ivanka themselves who can confirm if they are really not getting along or not. Their spokesperson will surely deny this and the truth is only to them and their family.
