The e-Pack platform allows fans to buy, open, collect and store trading cards right from their mobile device or computer. The Marvel Masterpieces e-Pack product includes the same content found in the regular set, but also includes exclusive achievement cards featuring Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Deadpool and more.
More than three years in the making, the new Marvel Masterpieces set includes over 130 original pieces of art crafted meticulously by Joe Jusko, limited-edition parallels, retro-inspired inserts, artist autograph cards and rare foil-stamped buybacks from the original 1992 release. In addition, collectors can find 10 high-series canvas cards of the greatest Super Heroes and Super Villains from the Marvel Universe. Retro-inspired inserts include Mirage lenticular cards, Gallery and Holofoil cards with rare parallel versions limited to 25 and Battle Spectra inserts featuring never-before-seen Gem versions.
"There are a lot of characters from the Marvel Universe that I've had a soft spot for since childhood and that I never had the opportunity to paint; characters like Hela, Tiger Shark, Ka-Zar and even a few Kirby pre-hero monsters!" said Joe Jusko. "I think I've succeeded in surpassing my original Masterpieces set, which was my ultimate goal. I hope others feel the same way."
"We are very excited to be able to offer a product like Marvel Masterpieces on Upper Deck's e-Pack platform" said Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck. "Fans can now experience this incredible collection of Jusko art right from their phone or computer and choose to collect, trade or even have cards delivered directly to them."
