Dayton, Ohio, March 13, 2017 -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services, cybersecurity and product solutions, announced today that employees from its Secure Computing and Communications (SCC) Division, based in Roanoke, Virginia, will attend the 2017 Government Microcircuit Applications and Critical Technology (GOMACTech) conference in various roles. Program Manager John Hallman was selected to serve on a panel and present a white paper abstract, while coworkers were chosen to exhibit a poster presentation at the four-day event, scheduled from March 20-23 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. GOMACTech is the critical technology forum where major government microelectronics applications and initiatives are announced.
Mr. Hallman will serve as a key panelist on a Joint Working Panel on Monday, March 20 entitled, “Trustable Microelectronics Standard Products” during the Trusted Suppliers Industry Session. He represents MacB as an accredited trusted microelectronics supplier and a provider of microelectronic service solutions. Additionally, Mr. Hallman will present a white paper abstract on Tuesday, March 21 entitled, “Advancements in Automated Circuit Grouping for Intellectual Property Trust Analysis.” He and his colleagues will discuss an approach evolving from a manual process into automation. The automated circuit grouping aids evaluators by assembling related circuitry into hierarchical blocks of functions, so they can be quickly analyzed.
MacB Senior Research Engineer Whitney Batchelor is also presenting a technical discussion on Thursday, March 23 entitled, “Inexact Subgraph Matching for Digital Circuit Analysis.” The discussion and poster exhibit, co-authored with colleagues and engineers Stephen Baka and Frederic Tuttle, evaluates the usefulness of directly applying inexact matching algorithms from non-circuit domains to circuit structures.
“In preparation for GOMACTech this year, our team has created outstanding technical engineering solutions to showcase specifically for the DoD community,” said Barry Polakowski, Senior Director of MacB’s Secure Computing and Communications Division (SCC). “Being selected to participate on multiple fronts is a true testament to MacB’s commitment and reputation as an accredited and trusted microelectronics services provider throughout the industry.”
