RESTON, Va., April 26, 2017 -- Lightbridge Corporation (NASDAQ:LTBR), a U.S. nuclear fuel technology company, today announced that James Malone, Chief Nuclear Fuel Development Officer, will present at the GAIN Fuel Safety Research Workshop on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., hosted by Idaho National Lab’s (INL) Energy Innovation Laboratory (EIL). The title of the section is: “Fuel Vendor Safety Research Needs to Support Current Light Water Reactor Fuel Designs.”
The GAIN Fuel Safety Research Workshop is an invitation-only workshop to gather fuel safety needs from the broad range of nuclear industry. The needs will be analyzed relative to INL’s capabilities to help inform program planning and funding. It will also provide a forum to learn about transient testing from a research and regulatory perspective.
