Lavazza North America has begun the construction of its first roasting and packing plant in the US and should be open in October 2021.
The plant will add 1,000 square feet to the 18,000 square foot Lavazza Professional facility in West Chester, PA.
The additional space will allow the Italian coffee company to begin roasting and grinding coffee in the US.
Davide Riboni, President & CEO BU Americas for Lavazza, emphasized that North America continues to be a strategic growth market for Lavazza Group and the facility sharpen its competitive edge in the US.
