Larson Electronics’ IND-SMP.18-WP60E is an LED pole light with an attached glare shield. This 60 watt unit produces a long flood beam and draws just 0.5 amps. The light assembly is mounted to a 18.625” steel pedestal pole and consists of six LEDs combined with high purity specular optics, which emit a light distribution more powerful than a 500 watt quartz floodlight. Three angled boards allow light to shine forward and out to the sides at a 45° angle, which creates a wider spread beam.
The LED light head is enclosed within waterproof aluminum housing that has been powder coated for resistance against corrosion and the damage effects of outdoor operations. A shatterproof polycarbonate lens, waterproof seal and waterproof connector add to the light fixture’s ruggedness. The housing also incorporates integral cooling fins for efficient heat dissipation and increased LED longevity. IND-SMP.18-WP60E is surface-mount compatible, and the LED light head features an adjustable u-bracket that allows the light head to be rotated 360 degrees and tilted 180 degrees. This mounting set up gives operators more freedom to position the light for effective illumination in their workspace.
“This pole mounted LED light is a great option for locations that need elevated and wide spread illumination,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “The 3 angled boards provide more spread, and the surface-mountable pole and u-bracket make it easy to illuminate exactly where you need to, with little fuss.”
