LTC/USD hit a fresh low of 3.75 levels on Thursday before restoring slightly above to 3.78 levels at the time of writing (BTC-e). The recent announcement about an upcoming Litecoin integration into Jaxx blockchain wallet has failed to trigger any buying interest.
Short-term trend: Bearish
Ichimoku analysis of daily chart:
Tenkan Sen: 3.81
Kijun Sen: 3.88
Trend reversal: 3.89 (90 EMA)
“The pair continues to trade inside the Ichimoku cloud and has taken support near 3.75 levels. A break below would target 3.50 levels”, FxWirePro said in a statement.
The pair will run into resistance at 3.85 levels (200-day MA) and a break above would see reach 3.89 levels (90 EMA)/4.00 levels (100 DMA).
On the other hand, the pair is currently resting above 3.75 levels and any violation will drag it to 3.50 (psychological level)/ 3.22 (August 02 low).
