‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Season 13, Episode 3 Spoilers: “The Aftermath” – Kim Copes with Traumatic Paris Robbery; Kris Prioritizes Family Safety, Security

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13’s episode 3, titled “The Aftermath,” will follow Kim Kardashian as she copes with her traumatic Paris robbery. Meanwhile, Kris Jenner is set on prioritizing her family’s safety and security.

The synopsis for “The Aftermath” posted on TV Guide reads, “Kim struggles to cope with frightening reminders of the robbery in Paris; Kendall wrestles over her decision to prosecute an unstable trespasser; and Kris makes it her mission to heighten security for the entire family.”

The upcoming episode will follow the events of episode 2, when Kim recalled the traumatic details of her Paris robbery from last October 2016. She was robbed of $11 million worth of jewelry after she was bound and held at gunpoint during her trip for the Paris Fashion Week. Her mother, Kris, will make it her personal mission to prioritize the safety and security of their family in the upcoming episode.

According to Headline Planet, viewership for the reality television series rose as curious spectators tuned in to follow Kim’s story as well as see how the show handles the sensitive issues presented. Although ratings weren’t exceptionally impressive, “Paris” drew in 1.48 million viewers and bumped the series higher from its usual numbers.

Kim recently took to Twitter to address the latest episode, according to Vox. On March 20, she posted, “I have always shared so much & I'm not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me.” It was clear that the show adjusted its well-established format to accommodate the robbery drama but it reportedly struggled with how it approached Kim’s trauma on a deeper level.

The Paris robbery obviously left severe effects on the model, reality television star, and businesswoman. Kim disappeared from social media and refused public outings following the incident. She previously admitted that she left the limelight for a while because she wanted to spend more time with husband Kanye West and their children.

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ season 13’s episode 3, titled “The Aftermath,” is scheduled to air on E! on March 26, 2017. It will be followed by episode 4, titled "Kim's Last Ditch Effort," scheduled to be released on April 2.
