Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is furious and is calling in her lawyers as she will be taking legal action against Tatler, a magazine in the United Kingdom.
Kate is upset that Tatler had written an article that stated that she is overwhelmed by her royal duties which have caused her to become dangerously thin.
The Us in its June 15, 2020 issue reported that the Kensington Palace has denied the Tatler cover story and claimed that it has a lot of inaccuracies.
However, a spokesperson from Tatler has told Us that the magazine will be standing by its story. It also claimed that Kensington Palace had been made aware of the story before it was published.
An insider told Us that Kate is furious about having attracted bad press. But, the insider added that Kate acknowledged that there is some truth to the story.
She and husband, Prince William, have been stepping into the shoes of Queen Elizabeth II who has taken a break from her duties to protect herself from the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple, although hands-on parents to Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, have not complained about their added tasks and are happy about being able to lend a hand to the queen.
Most of the tasks have fallen to her and Prince William as his father, Prince Charles is recuperating from having contracted the coronavirus. William's brother, Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan Markle had resigned from their royal duties early in January.
It has been very challenging for Prince William and Kate. However, while Queen Elizabeth II may not be able to go out and about, she has also been busy guiding her grandson and his wife.
There is no confirmation if Kate will indeed be filing a legal action. If that is the case, then we will certainly be hearing it from them.
