“Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126 is picking up directly from the tragic ending of last week’s installment that puts Nobara’s life in danger. On the bright side, the protagonists are about to catch a break as Todo arrives at the scene.

Chapter 125 was a major Nobara-centric installment that provided fans a glimpse of her childhood. It was shown how she lived in a small village where she also met her two best friends. But the build-up of Nobara’s childhood later led to a tragic incident. Nobara was attacked by Mahito while she was standing right in front of Yuji. The chapter ended with half of Nobara’s face being blown up making her death seem plausible.

Some of the raw scans of “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126 have already leaked online giving manga readers an idea of Nobara’s fate. One of the panels shows Nobara’s bloodied face and that she has lost her left eye. But she does not look entirely lifeless.

The same panel shows Nobara’s other eye is open, which could be a sign that she is still alive. Sources of “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126 leaks also report that Nobara will receive treatment from Kyoto’s Nitta, who would be able to stop the bleeding but not undo the damage that Mahito did on Nobara.

As mentioned, Mahito’s attack that almost killed Nobara happened right in front of Yuji. Even at the end of chapter 125, Yuji appeared to be in a state of extreme shock and that will reportedly continue to affect him in “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126.

Leaks indicate that Yuji will not be in the proper condition to fight back and would then be pummeled by the enemy. Fortunately, the “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126 spoilers say Todo will arrive in time to help Yuji against Mahito.

There are also fan translations based on “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 126 raw scans that say it will feature Gojo in some panels. But before fans celebrate, it does not mean he has been freed because he is only appearing in a flashback sequence.
