AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 18, 2016 -- Jones Energy, Inc. (NYSE:JONE) (“Jones Energy” or “the Company”) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a prorated quarterly cash dividend per share equal to 8.0% based on the liquidation preference of $50.00 per share on an annualized basis, or approximately $0.8777778 per share, on the Company’s 8.0% Series A Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock. This dividend is prorated for the period beginning on the issue date of August 26, 2016 through November 14, 2016 and will be payable in cash on November 15, 2016 to shareholders of record as of November 1, 2016.
The Company also announced today that it plans to release its third quarter 2016 financial and operating results on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 after the market closes. In connection with the earnings release, Jones Energy will host a conference call for investors and analysts to discuss its results on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. ET (9:30 a.m. CT).
