Italy’s industrial turnover index rose on a sequential basis in November 2016. Seasonally adjusted, the turnover index rose 2.4 percent sequentially, as compared with October’s rise of 0.8 percent, noted Istat. The percentage change of the average of the previous t here months compared to the earlier three months was -2.3 percent. On a year-on-year basis, the industrial turnover index rose 3.9 percent, as compared with October’s year-on-year print of -0.9 percent.
Meanwhile, industrial orders rose 1.5 percent sequentially on a seasonally adjusted basis in November. In October, orders had grown 0.9 percent sequentially. The percentage change of the average of the last three months as compared to the previous three months was -2.3 percent. On a year-on-year basis, Italy’s industrial orders rose 0.1 percent, as compared with October’s year-on-year print of -3.2 percent.
For the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted volume turnover index rose 2.6 percent on a sequential basis.
