BROOMFIELD, Colo., Sept. 21, 2016 -- Introducing STōK® 48 oz. multi-serve Cold-Brew Coffee: a ready-to-drink smooth, coffee-forward beverage made for people who want coffee to taste like coffee. STōK is brewed low and slow at a cool temperature for a minimum of 10 hours to bring out every drop of smooth, one-of-a-kind STōKness.
Iced coffee is prepared via hot brewing, which forces the flavor from the bean bringing out the acidic, bitter notes of coffee. STōK Cold-Brew Coffee is made with a proprietary Arabica-based blend and uses a higher ratio of coffee beans to water than typical hot brewing. The cool steeping process removes bitterness, resulting in a smoother, slightly sweet flavor.
“We are excited to introduce new STōK Cold-Brew Coffee at a time when consumers are embracing the craft coffee movement at home and on the go,” said Monisha Dabek, WhiteWave Coffee Creamers & Beverages Marketing Director. “STōK has been a passion project for our team for several years. STōK celebrates the craft and creativity in making better coffee, with simple high quality ingredients. We challenge ourselves to keep an open mind until we land on something amazing, which we are now pleased to share in the form of the bold, smooth flavor of cold brew coffee in a ready-to-drink format.”
- The new 48 oz. multi-serve comes in Un-sweet and Not Too Sweet varieties. The multi-serve is available for a suggested retail price of $4.99
- The single serve 13.7 oz. comes in Mocha, Vanilla and Not Too Sweet Black varieties. It is available for a suggested retail price of $3.35
