OTTAWA, March 19, 2018 -- Interset, an artificial intelligence (AI) security analytics company, today announced new data integrations that enable customers to further integrate Interset’s threat detection platform into the fabric of their security ecosystem. To help enterprises and managed security services providers (MSSPs) preserve and enhance security investments, Interset leverages an open architecture and accessible APIs to augment and optimize other systems, such as data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint detection and response (EDR), identity and access management (IAM) and security information and event management (SIEM).

“Businesses today are managing a fragmented cybersecurity ecosystem with siloed data across disjointed systems,” said Mark Smialowicz, CEO at Interset. “Attempting to create order among chaos, organizations are unnecessarily guided to abandon their SIEM, DLP or IAM systems as new threat detection and behavioral analytics technologies enter the market. We understand that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which is why Interset’s security analytics is designed not only to protect existing security investments, but to help derive more value from them than ever before.”
Chief among Interset’s new integrations is the Phantom Security Operations Platform—an integration that helps organizations streamline and improve incident response. Users can now connect to the Interset App for Phantom and leverage related Phantom playbooks, including automatic notifications and quarantine of high-risk machines and automatic suspension of high-risk user accounts.
Also new are integrations with ticketing systems ServiceNow and JIRA to improve orchestration and automation, native support for Proofpoint email, Google Drive and Google Applications to support DLP, and integration with Symantec Endpoint Protection to fortify security in zero-trust networks.
For organizations that manage incident response through SIEMs, Interset supports the ability to ingest data from and push alerts to SIEMs when entities are deemed high-risk. Interset augments these systems and empowers organizations to easily integrate Interset into their existing operations, improving their security posture in the most resource-efficient way.
New outbound integrations include:
- Phantom Security Operations Platform
- ServiceNow
- JIRA
New inbound integrations include native support for:
- Phantom Security Operations Platform
- Proofpoint email
- Google Drive and Google Applications
- Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Workday
- Palo Alto Networks Panorama
- Financial expense management services
